In the wake of the newest Apple keynote, our topic on the root of programming comes at a perfect time! Apple has done a marvelous job of showing the world the power and beauty of technology programmed just right, and just for your needs.

In 2019, programming is everywhere and it is a part of everything. When you break it down, we are in contact with programming all of the time; your phone, car, your alarm system, laptop, grocery store, or…. the software for your greenhouse!

Programming is a beautiful tool that we have been able to create and utilize. At its core the power of programming, and the reason it has such a powerful root in our businesses and lives, is because of enhanced communication. Programming allows us greater speed and reach with our communication than ever before, and that is a beautiful asset.
Whether you are communicating with your family and friends via email, text, and IM, or your software tools are communicating with each other, programming has made communication instantaneous. Increasing our productivity, efficiency, safety, profitability, and much more.

At ISS we would argue that the most powerful root of our business is the ability to program and write code well! Because when you can program well, you can offer an un-
