We’re looking for an Applications Support Specialist II (AppSS II) to join our growing Support team. In this role, you’ll serve as the first line of response for software support requests, working directly with customers to diagnose and resolve issues. You’ll play a key role in ensuring users get the help they need while developing technical skills that can lead to future roles such as programming, software testing, documentation, deployment, or consulting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incoming customer support requests via the Help Desk.
- Research issues, identify solutions, and escalate when necessary.
- Work with Windows environments, SQL, and basic scripting.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with users of all technical levels.
- Document incidents, solutions, and updates in our HelpDesk system.
- Lead virtual customer trainings and support meetings when needed.
- Collaborate with other teams on deployments, testing, and special projects.
- Learn all about the wonderful world of horticulture.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with SQL, JavaScript, or similar languages (a plus).
- Experience with Windows operating systems.
